• Strategic Recruitment Stream – For candidates without an Alberta employer but with skills in high-demand occupations.
  • Compulsory and Optional Trade Category – Requires a valid work permit, trade certificate, Alberta qualification certificate, and at least 6 months’ recent experience.
  • Engineering Occupations Category – For engineers, drafters, and designers (12 eligible occupations).
  • Post-Graduate Worker Category – For graduates from Canadian institutions with a valid job offer in Alberta.
• Employer-Driven Stream – For candidates with job offers from Alberta employers.

• Self-Employed Farmer Stream – For applicants with farming experience, a net worth of at least CAD 500,000, and a plan to purchase and operate a farm in Alberta.
