Latest Ontario PNP Draw Sent 1,654 Permanent Residency Invitations

On 19 January 2024, latest Ontario PNP Draw sent 1,654 Permanent Residency Invitations in a new draw. This draw was sent out under the OINP Foreign Worker Stream to applicants with job offers in any TEER 0,1,2 or 3 Occupations with a score of 50 or above.

Since 01 March 2022, this is the first general draw for the OINP Foreign Worker Stream. On 09 January 2024, the draw invited 9 profiles having job offers in any of the 63 skilled trade occupations, 41 healthcare, or 15 tech occupations.

After getting an invitation applicants need to submit their applications within 14 days. Have a look at the summary of the Ontario PNP Draw of January 2024:

Eligibility Criteria for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program Foreign Worker Stream Draw

You can build a profile in the OINP PNP Program for Foreign Worker Stream if you have;

  • full-time employment offer in Ontario’s TEER categories 0,1,2, or 3
  • a job from an Ontario employer includes wages above the median level for the occupation
  • a Minimum experience of 2 years in the same occupation in which the applicant gets a job offer
  • an intention to live in Ontario Immigration Province
  • a temporary residency in Ontario for at least one year before applying

  • Occupational Category 5, 6 – 3 points

Job offer: wage

  • $40 per hour or higher: 10 points
  • $35 to $39.99 per hour—8 points
  • $30 to $34.99 per hour—7 points
  • $25 to $29.99 per hour (6 points)
  • $20 to $24.99 per hour—5 points
  • Less than $20 per hour—0 points

Work permit status

  • With valid work permit, 10 points
  • Without a valid work permit: 0 points

Job tenure with job offer employer

  • 6 months or more working in a job offer position: 3 points
  • Less than 6 months working in job offer position or not currently working in position = 0 points

The work in the job offer position must have occurred within Ontario.

Canadian work experience: earnings history

Based on a Notice of Assessment, the Canada Revenue Agency issued in the previous five years,

  • $40k or more earnings in a year: 3 points
  • Less than $40k earnings in a year: 0 points

Language

  • CLB 9 or higher: 10 points
  • CLB: 8 – 6 points
  • CLB 7: 4 points
