On 10 January 2024, the first Express Entry Draw 2024 issued 1,510 PR Invitations in all programs or general rounds of invitations with a CRS score of 546 or above.
In this draw, the cutoff was increased by 4 points as compared to the previous draw held on 18 December 2023. Also, the number of invites increased by 185 as compared to the last draw.

Express Entry processing times
From 09 January 2024, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship, Canada (IRCC) increased the processing time for all three Express Entry categories:
- Federal Skilled Worker Program:- 5 months
- Federal Skilled Trades Program:- within the best possible duration
- Canadian Experience Class:- 5 months
- Provincial Nominee Program via Express Entry: 8 months
