On 10 January 2024, the first British Columbia Draw Invited more than 372 new immigrants Invitation to Apply for Permanent Residency in the General Draw.

Out of which 110 invitations were sent in a targeted British Columbia draw with a CRS cutoff score of 100-120 under the BC PNP Skills Immigration and Express Entry streams as well as Entry Level and Semi-Skilled streams.

The cut-off score in this draw is increased by 4-5 points in all streams as compared to the previous draw held on 12 December 2023.

Moreover, 113 invitations were issued to targeted profiles (NOC 42202) for early childhood educators and assistants. Furthermore, British Columbia’s new category-based draw sent out 74 invitations with a CRS cutoff score of 75 with experience in 25 Construction Occupations.

Lastly, 75 invitations were sent to 39 healthcare-related occupations.
