On 11th June 2024, Alberta PNP adopted new guidelines for targeted streams like Alberta Opportunity Steam, Rural Renewal Stream, and Accelerated Tech Pathway, similar to those used in the Tourism and Hospitality Stream.
The processing time of the Alberta PNP streams has been also adjusted with new guidelines. Alberta Immigration has already planned the dates of upcoming draws targeting these streams. The individual acceptance dates and application targets are based on various unpredictable factors, including application volume, economic needs or priorities, remaining allocations available, and future planning.
