STEM Express Entry Draw Sent 4,500 PR Invitations

Express Entry Draw

On 11th April 2024, the first STEM Express Entry Draw of 2024 targeting 24 STEM occupations issued 4,500 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

After 4 months, the most awaited STEM draw was held with an increasing Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 491 as compared to the previous STEM-only draw.

Recently, the immigration minister Marc Miller declared his intention to focus more on the “domestic” pool of candidates in the upcoming draws. Domestic means the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.
