1. Inland Sponsorship

• This is for those whose partners are already living in Canada.
• The applicant might be qualified to work for an open work permit which allows them to work in Canada during the processing of their application.
• The sponsor and the partner to be sponsored should be living together during the processing of the application.

2. Outland Sponsorship

• This sponsorship is for those whose partners are living outside Canada.
