Overview
- A digital Nomad is a person who can operate remotely from any location in the world, according to the IRCC.
- A digital Nomad who is employed remotely by a foreign company is permitted to move to Canada under visitor status for a maximum of six months.
- So, this is only a tourist visa for working professionals who are permitted to operate remotely from anywhere in the world by their individual employers (outside of Canada).
The IRCC aims to process digital Nomad Visitor Visa applications within two months of receiving a complete application.
