On August 9, 2023, the most recent BC PNP draw of 2023 distributed almost 195 invitations to apply for permanent residency (PR) in both a general draw and a targeted draw.
In the general draw 139 invites were issued out, which took into account profiles with experience in all the occupations including 35 in technology under all the BC PNP Skilled Immigration streams as well as Express Entry streams.
• 34 invites have been sent specifically to profiles of early childhood educators and helpers (NOC 42202).
• Also, 22 invitations are sent to individuals with profiles in 39 healthcare occupations
In comparison to the prior draw on July 25, the cut-off score increased by 1 point across all categories for the general draw but stayed the same for targeted draw.
