On 31st January 2024, the Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residency through the Express Entry Scheme were announced. Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship, Canada (IRCC) extended invitations for applicants to apply under Express Entry if they want to reside there permanently.
The main aim of the Canada Express Entry Program is to allow skilled immigrants to become Permanent Residents of Canada. Applicant’s profiles from the Express Entry Pool are invited to apply for Canada PR based on their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
A candidate’s CRS cut-off score ranges from 1200 determined by several factors such as age, education, work experience, adaptability, and other factors. On 31st January 2024, the Canadian Express Entry Program issued 730 invitations to apply for Permanent residency with a CRS score of 541 or above.
Usually, the Express Entry draws are held bi-weekly. However, it changed when new categories were added in 2023.
