On 14 December 2023, the OINP Express Entry draw 2023 issued 2,359 Invitations to Apply (ITA) for Permanent Residency with a CRS score of 473-480.
Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program targeted Express entry profiles with experience in one of 15 tech occupations under the Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP). This time OINP sent the highest number of Invitations ever sent in a single draw.
Eligibility criteria for OINP HCP stream
Let’s take a look at the eligibility criteria of OINP Human Captial Priorities (HCP).
- Must have a valid Express Entry profile under Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP).
- Educational Credential Assessment must be equivalent to Canadian education.
- CLB level 7 or higher in English proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE.
- Ensure have enough amount of funds to support yourself and your family members in the Canadian Province.

- NOC 21232: Software developers and programmers

- NOC 22220: Computer network technicians
- NOC 22221: User support technicians
- NOC 22222: Information systems testing technicians

Those Candidates invited to the OINP draw have 45 days to respond with a complete application to accept the provincial nomination. After obtaining an OINP nomination, these applicants will receive 600 points and a CRS score will increase up to 1,073-1,080, confirming their selection in the next Express Entry draw guaranteed.
