In January 2024, two Canada immigration pathways will start accepting Permanent Residency applicants with limited spots. These two programs give an opening to new applicants which are Caregivers Pilot Programs and Agri-Food Pilot.
These two programs offer permanent residency to those who meet certain requirements and have limited spots every year.
Occupations that are eligible for the Caregivers Program are Home Child Care Providers (NOC 44100) and Home Support Worker Pilot (NOC 44101).
Agri-Food Pilots occupations that are eligible for permanent residency are listed below:-
- NOC 63201- Butchers, retail and wholesale
- NOC 65202 – Meat cutters and fishmongers – retail and wholesale
- NOC 94141 – Industrial butchers workers meat cutters, poultry preparers
- NOC 82030 – Agricultural service contractors and farm supervisors
- NOC 84120 – Specialized livestock workers and farm machinery operators
- NOC 85100 – Livestock labourers
