Free Document Replacement for Nova Scotia’s
The Honorable Minister of IRCC, Sean Fraser, outlined procedures on July 25 for individuals who had been harmed by the floods and required the replacement of crucial documents or to have expansion or revival of their status in Canada.
To apply, these people should get in touch with the Ministry of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will provide free replacement documents to Canadians which includes both permanent and temporary residents of Nova Scotia who have been directly impacted by the flood.
These include travel documents that have been directly affected by the natural disaster and are now either lost, damaged, destroyed, or made inaccessible, such as permanent residence cards, proof of citizenship, citizenship certificates, Canadian passports, and other travel documents.
