New Regulations for Canada Study Visas
IRCC will now accept 4 new English examinations under Student Direct Stream (SDS), for the applications received after
10 August 2023.
- Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL)
- Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP)
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- These are the four new English tests that have been approved for SDS study visas.In order to submit an application for a study visa under the SDS, you must pass these language tests in person.
