On 11th April 2024, the first STEM Express Entry Draw<\/a> of 2024 targeting 24 STEM occupations issued 4,500 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residency. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.<\/p>\n

After 4 months, the most awaited STEM draw was held with an increasing Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 491 as compared to the previous STEM-only draw.<\/p>\n

Recently, the immigration minister Marc Miller declared his intention to focus more on the \u201cdomestic\u201d pool of candidates in the upcoming draws. Domestic means the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates.<\/p>\n
