Express Entry Draw Expectations For 2024, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship, Canada (IRCC) has set a goal of welcoming 110,770 new Canada Permanent Residents through the Express Entry Draw.<\/p>\n

IRCC is yet to announce the first Express Extry Draw of 2024, which we can see in the forthcoming days.<\/p>\n

The draws held in 2023, were the first year introducing a category-based draw in which IRCC replaced the term \u201cno program specified\u201d with general draws.<\/p>\n

In 2023, the Canada Express Entry Draw<\/a> invited 110,266 applicants to apply for permanent residency in 42 rounds of invitations. Later, IRCC introduced targeted draws which invited a total of 51,218 in 27 rounds of invitations.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s look at the previous draw of 2023 before creating expectations for the upcoming invitations this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Express Entry Draw Guidance for 2024<\/h2>\n

For non-targeted or general Express Entry draws, a CRS of more than 530 can expect an invitation to apply in the upcoming general draws as a less than 510 score has become normal.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The trade category can come out on top in the Express Entry Draw 2024 followed by French proficiency. The healthcare category is expected to come second with relatively remaining higher in the STEM category.<\/p>\n

These two categories have higher CRS<\/a> cutoff scores and extreme chances of getting provincial nominations in 2024.<\/p>\n

Agriculture & Agri-Food and Transport targeted rounds of invitations are expected to be less frequent in 2024 compared to other categories.<\/p>\n
