This particular round is specially designed for applicants who belong to Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and has increased the number of invitations by a significant 50% from the previous two CEC invitations. The CRS cut-off score remained constant at 516.<\/p>\n<h2>Highlights of the News<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Draw Date &#8211;<\/strong> 5 August 2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>Draw Category &#8211;<\/strong> Canadian Experience Class (CEC)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total Invitations Issued &#8211;<\/strong> 3,000<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minimum CRS Score Required &#8211;<\/strong> 516<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Understanding the 516 Cutoff Score<\/h3>\n<p>Regardless of IRCC\u2019s increased invitation allocation by 1,000 ITAs during this Express Entry draw, there was absolutely no change in the CRS cutoff score and it stayed constant at 516 points, which is the same as the July 21 CEC draw.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of 2026, the cutoff scores for the CEC category have always been within the range of 507 to 518 points. The stability of the 516 point cutoff score suggests that there is a continuous inflow of candidates into the candidate pool who are scoring high points especially on language and Canadian work experience.<\/p>\n<h3>Canadian Experience Class Draw Trends for 2026<\/h3>\n<p>Canadian Experience Class (CEC) continues to be the principal avenue for immigration through the Express Entry process in 2026.
