Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada has held another Express Entry draw on 25 June 2026<\/a> whereby they have invited 4,000 candidates to submit applications for Canadian permanent residence. In this particular draw the candidates were selected from the category of the Healthcare and Social Services occupations, showing the Canadian efforts towards overcoming the labour shortage in the healthcare field. To be eligible for this draw candidates required at least 475 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).<\/p>\n

    This series of draws indicates IRCC’s sustained effort in inviting candidates through category-specific draws for Canada’s workforce requirements and other immigration purposes.<\/p>\n

    Drop in CRS Score to 475\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

    For this particular draw, the minimum CRS score required is 475, much lower compared to 516, the CRS score needed in the Canadian Experience Class draw conducted on June 23.<\/p>\n

    The reason why the score is quite low is that, through category-based draws, candidates from priority occupation groups can obtain invites despite their CRS score being lower than those of regular or CEC draws.<\/p>\n

    Eligibility Criteria<\/span><\/h3>\n

    In this lottery, IRCC invited those applicants who have professional experience in eligible Healthcare and Social Services occupations according to the category based selection process followed by IRCC.<\/p>\n

      Besides, candidates must also fulfill all the criteria for being eligible for the Express Entry program.<\/p>\n

      Canada is facing labor shortages in hospitals, long-term care centers, community health services and social service agencies. By conducting category-based Express Entry lotteries, IRCC has focused on those professionals who will be able to improve Canada’s healthcare system.<\/p>\n
