British Columbia on December 16, 2025, conducted a minor yet strategic BC Entrepreneur
\nImmigration draw under the BC Provincial Nominee Program<\/a> (BC PNP), giving out 17
\ninvitations for the Base stream and less than five invitations for the Regional stream to eligible entrepreneur applicants who are willing to invest and develop their businesses in the

Detailed Results of the BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration Draw<\/span><\/h2>\n

British Columbia’s Entrepreneur Immigration draw which took place on December 16th,
\nwas the next in line from the province’s ongoing strategy of issuing a small number of
\ntargeted invitations aimed at bringing in such entrepreneurs who would deliver economic
\nimpact through investment and business leadership. This way, B.C. keeps on promoting the
\nquality aspect of applicants over the quantity one in its nomination rounds for 2025.<\/p>\n

Invitations by Category –<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u25cf Base Stream<\/span> – A total of 17 invitations were allocated to individuals possessing very strong entrepreneurial profiles. These individuals are normally characterized by significant business experience and the nature of their planned activity is in line with the economic needs of the province.<\/p>\n

\u25cf Regional Stream<\/span> – Only a very small number of the invitations, that is fewer than five, were issued under the Regional Pilot reflecting that the province is still very cautiously admitting new investments in less developed areas of the community where the investment could take place.<\/p>\n

Trends & Comparison with Previous Draws<\/span><\/h3>\n

This draw is consistent with the trend of the whole of British Columbia’s pattern for 2025 where the province has regularly had smaller Entrepreneur Immigration draws with Base invitations generally requiring between the low and the mid-100s in score. The November 18, 2025 draw was one of those which also issued a limited number of invitations with 19 Base invites and even fewer Regional ones, thus showing the province’s continued preference for the selective approach.<\/p>\n
