On September 17, 2025, the fifth Express Entry draw<\/a> of September 2025<\/strong> saw 2,500 candidates<\/strong> invited under the Education Occupations category.<\/p>\n

This, being only the second draw for the Education Occupations category ever<\/strong>, further emphasizes the increasing demand for education professionals in Canada.<\/p>\n

Key Details of the September 17 Express Entry Draw<\/h2>\n

This draw consisted of additional ITAs and a lower CRS<\/a> cut-off than the first Education Occupations draw<\/strong> held on May 1, 2025<\/strong>, wherein 1,000 ITAs<\/strong> were issued with a CRS cut-off of 479.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Significance of This Draw<\/h3>\n

This Education draw signals Canada’s major focus on category-based immigration<\/strong>. Profession-based codes under priority in 2025 were healthcare, STEM, trades, transport, agriculture, French proficiency and now education<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

However, the CRS cutoff became much lower when compared to the May 2025 Education draw, thus extending more expansive access to medium-class candidates (CRS ranging between 460 and 470)<\/strong> for teachers and early childhood educators.<\/strong><\/p>\n
