Invitations to apply for permanent residency this year under PGP 2023 (Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship) have begun to arrive from IRCC.
These invites to apply for PR for their parents and/or grandparents will be sent to the sponsors who expressed interest in 2020 through email starting today and over the course of the following two weeks.
In order to receive up to 15,000 complete applications, IRCC expects to send out a total of 24,200 invitations to potential sponsors. That is the goal for 2023.
