On 01 January 2024, The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program updated the OINP International Student Stream to increase eligibility for international students who have earned a one-year college graduate certificate to qualify for permanent residency.
This change is initiated because the previous candidates with one-year college graduation certificates can only apply through the OINP International Student Stream if the completion of the degree is required for admission.
However, now this modification is eligible for any one-year college program that grants an Ontario Graduate Certificate.
Have a look at the new OINP International Student Stream:-
