Next Steps for Invited Candidates
Applicants who received an Ontario OINP Draws invitation on 9th October 2025, need to submit their applications through the OINP e-Filing Portal right away and they have 17 days for that. Employers who got the invitation must also complete job approval submissions through the Employer Portal within 14 days after getting the invitation.
With this procedure, the processing time is reduced and the possibility of deceptive job offers is eliminated.
This draw is indicative of Ontario’s unwavering emphasis on the health sector, early
childhood education and regional development (REDI) – all of which are aimed at solving
the labour shortages problem in smaller communities. Higher nomination targets are also
expected for the province under the upcoming 2026 – 2028 Immigration Levels Plan which
means that more skilled workers and international graduates will have the chance of getting
Permanent Residency in Ontario.
