On 5th September 2024, the Ontario OINP Draw invited 86 candidates under the French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream with a CRS score of between 290 and 393.
Invited applicants who meet the eligibility criteria for the OINP French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream can get the provincial nomination and get 600 CRS points for application.
The increase of CRS score will increased the chance of receiving an Invitation to Apply for the permanent residency draw. This was the third draw under the OINP French-speaking Skilled Worker in 2024 with a total of 1,282 provincial nomination year.
This draw CRS score was dropped by the 16 points as compared to the previous one held in june.
Furthermore, the lower cutoff score has also dropped by 15 points as compared to the June draw and by 27 points since the January draw.

Eligibility for Ontario Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream
To qualify for the OINP French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, candidates must:
- Have a valid Express Entry profile through the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
- Possess an educational background equivalent to a Canadian bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Attain a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) score of 7 or higher on the French language proficiency test (TCF/TEF Canada).
- Achieve a CLB level of 6 on the English language proficiency test (IELTS/CELPIP).
- Demonstrate proof of settlement funds, either through bank statements, investment statements, or employment income from continuous work in Ontario.
