Immigrating to Manitoba PNP Draw in 2024

A means of immigration to Manitoba, Canada, for businesses, skilled workers, and their families is through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). Through this scheme, the province can choose people who could benefit the community and local economy.

There are several streams under the MPNP, including:

  • Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream
  • Skilled Worker Overseas Stream
  • International Education Stream

The first step towards immigrating to Manitoba is submitting an EOI. An EOI is an online profile rather than an application. An EOI must be submitted by any applicant interested in relocating to Manitoba. A comprehensive set of inquiries will be posed to you during the EOI creation process. After finishing, the answers you provided will determine your EOI ranking points.

EOI’s Ranking System

The EOI ranking system allocates points based on six factors:

  • Age (Maximum points: 75)
  • Language Proficiency (Maximum points: 125)
  • Education (Maximum points: 125)
  • Work Experience (Maximum points: 175)
  • Adaptability (Maximum points: 500)
  • Risk (Maximum points: -200)

After that, your profile is added to a group of qualified applicants. Through regular Manitoba PNP draws, the MPNP then extends an invitation to the top-scoring individuals in the pool to make a full application for permanent residency.

Applicants can then submit an application for permanent residency in Canada after being recommended by Manitoba. The goal of the initiative is to draw in individuals who will effectively relocate to the province, enhancing the local economy and community.

Currently, 8 to 10 months are needed to process 80% of MPNP applications.
