On September 7, 2023, the most recent MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program) draw of 2023 accepted 558 applicants for permanent residency (PR) in all program draws.
In this MPNP draw, 158 of the invited candidates had both a current Express Entry profile and a valid job seeker validation number.
Even though the unemployment rate in Manitoba increased this month, MPNP decided to focus on the occupations with the highest number of skilled workers in Manitoba.

All MPNP profiles with all occupations that were not chosen in the aforementioned targeted draw were taken into consideration.

Additionally, Invitations for 52 international students graduating from specified Manitoba colleges or universities under the international education stream
Skilled Workers Overseas
Profiles of skilled workers abroad stated that they had been directly invited by the MPNP as part of a strategic recruitment initiative.
- 40 letters of recommendation to apply were issued.
- Lowest-ranked invited candidate had a ranking score of 724.
