There is a recent draw held on 15th August 2023 under the Express Entry program where in 4300 invitations were issued and the CRS cutoff score dropped by 21 points to 496 in the “No program specified draw.”
IRCC held this draw after two weeks, and there was an appreciable increase in the number of candidates invited. The procedure is becoming more efficient and currently draws take place every two weeks with CRS cutoffs ranging between 450 to 500.
The prior draws were conducted based on categories, and the minimum CRS cutoff was 435.
In the past week alone, the IRCC has sent out 4,300 invitations to apply, and this week it has sent out another 4,300 invitations to apply (ITAs). Last week, the IRCC also held its first skilled trade category draw for the year 2023 where 10 occupations were shortlisted with the lowest cut-off score of 388.
