The targeted Express Entry draw for jobs in agriculture and agri-food is fully described below:
- 600 invitations were sent out.
- Round took place on September 28, 2023, at 16:45 UTC.
- The lowest-ranked candidate invited had a CRS score of 354.
- Rule for deciding ties: 12 June 2023, 10:23:21 UTC
Canada will be able to attract skilled workers as per their requirements to the new rounds of invitees, emphasizing candidates with experience in the agriculture and agri-food industries, such as retail and wholesale butchers, farm supervisors, and agricultural service contractors.
Those with at least six months of experience in one of the professions listed below are in the focus with the most recent Express Entry round of invites.
- 82031 – Contractors and supervisors, Landscaping, groundskeeping, and horticulture
- 82030 – Farm managers and agricultural service providers
- 63201 – Retail and wholesale butchers
