In August 2023, Canada issued 24,720 invitations to apply (ITAs) for permanent residence (PR) in 36 fresh rounds of invitations for its various immigration schemes.
Compared to the total invitations sent in July 2023, this represents an almost 55% increase in the total number of invites for permanent residency.
The province of Ontario issued the most invitations to PR for the month of August 2023, followed by the provincial nominee programs of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Quebec, British Columbia, Alberta, and Prince Edward Island.
