This, being only the second draw for the Education Occupations category ever, further emphasizes the increasing demand for education professionals in Canada.

Significance of This Draw
This Education draw signals Canada’s major focus on category-based immigration. Profession-based codes under priority in 2025 were healthcare, STEM, trades, transport, agriculture, French proficiency and now education.
However, the CRS cutoff became much lower when compared to the May 2025 Education draw, thus extending more expansive access to medium-class candidates (CRS ranging between 460 and 470) for teachers and early childhood educators.
