Compared to Other June 2026 Express Entry Draws
There were two other major draws conducted in the preceding days prior to the June 25th draw by IRCC, signifying its active draw scheduling.
| Draw Date | June 25, 2026 | June 24, 2026 | June 23, 2026 | June 22, 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Invite Type | Healthcare and Social Services | Physicians with Canadian Work Experience | Canadian Experience Class (CEC) | Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) |
| Number of Invites | 475 | 223 | 4,000 | 955 |
| Required CRS | 500 | 271 | 516 | 730 |
This series of draws indicates IRCC’s sustained effort in inviting candidates through category-specific draws for Canada’s workforce requirements and other immigration purposes.
Drop in CRS Score to 475
For this particular draw, the minimum CRS score required is 475, much lower compared to 516, the CRS score needed in the Canadian Experience Class draw conducted on June 23.
The reason why the score is quite low is that, through category-based draws, candidates from priority occupation groups can obtain invites despite their CRS score being lower than those of regular or CEC draws.
Eligibility Criteria
In this lottery, IRCC invited those applicants who have professional experience in eligible Healthcare and Social Services occupations according to the category based selection process followed by IRCC.
Occupations that fall under the eligibility criteria may be from the following professions –
- Registered nurses
- Doctors
- Dentists
- Pharmacists
- Physical therapists
- Medical laboratory technologists
- Social workers
- Other eligible healthcare and social services occupations
Besides, candidates must also fulfill all the criteria for being eligible for the Express Entry program.
Importance of Healthcare Draws in Canada
Canada is facing labor shortages in hospitals, long-term care centers, community health services and social service agencies. By conducting category-based Express Entry lotteries, IRCC has focused on those professionals who will be able to improve Canada’s healthcare system.
The June 25th draw is an indication of the overall immigration policy of Canada of recruiting skilled professionals in professions which have an ongoing demand in all provinces and territories of Canada.
What This Draw Means for Immigration Candidates
The recently conducted Express Entry Draw in June 25, 2026 clearly indicates that the immigration system in Canada is still based on categories. The healthcare professionals have continued to receive favorable draws at lower cut-off scores than other draws.
It is necessary for those in eligible professions in the healthcare and social services occupations to keep their Express Entry profile up to date.
