PEI PNP Draw December 2025 – Overview

On 15th December 2025, Prince Edward Island conducted its Provincial Nominee Program draw and through the Labour Impact and Express Entry streams 166 Invitations to Apply were issued. The choice of method remained targeted as before and in this round no invitations were given out under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur category.

Selection Focus and Candidate Profile

Invitations were allocated to applicants who were a direct contribution to the provincial workforce, especially being the case with workers in the priority occupations that were most affected by the shortage of manpower. Among the strong factors most preferred were candidates working in Prince Edward Island at the moment and also international graduates from PEI-designated post-secondary institutions. This method strengthens PEI’s preference for applicants who can immediately integrate into the economy.

Draw Strategy and Outlook

The December draw was in line with PEI’s consistently applied immigration strategy for 2025, which aimed at controlling the number of invitations based on the demand in the labor market rather than selecting participants widely. Currently, there are no further draws confirmed, which means this round is anticipated to be the last invitation round of 2025 for the PEI PNP, paving the way for more targeted selections next year.
