Nova Scotia invited 12 candidates through Entrepreneur draw

Twelve candidates were invited under the two streams of the NSPNP (Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program by the Nova Scotia. Six invitations were issued under the Entrepreneur stream with minimum cut-off 128 score. And other six invitations issued under the International Graduate Entrepreneur stream with minimum cut-off score of 47.

Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream

Under the Entrepreneur stream, the candidates with experience in business ownership or senior management gets invited. Candidates gets a temporary work permit and then they can apply for a Canada PR visa after managing the business for at least one year. The applicants gets invited in the pool through the EOI (Expression of Interest).

Requirements for the Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream

Here is the list of requirements for the Nova Scotia Entrepreneur Stream:

  • The candidates age should be minimum 21 years and above.
  • The candidates must intent to reside in Nova Scotia permanently while owning or operating a business.
  • The candidate must have a minimum net worth off $ 600,000 to apply under this stream.
  • The candidate must have experience of at least three years in operating and owning a business.
  • The candidate should score minimum CLB 5 in four abilities of French or English language.

Nova Scotia International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream

To be eligible and to apply for the Nova Scotia International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream, the candidate should have completed their graduation from Nova Scotia University or Community college. The candidates must start or purchase a business and manage it for a year under the post-graduation work permit.

Requirements for Nova Scotia International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream

Here is the list of requirements for the Nova Scotia International Graduate Entrepreneur Stream:

  • The candidate should be willing to live in the province while operating or owning a business.
  • The candidate should have at least one year of experience in operating or owning a business with 100% ownership.
  • The candidate should have completed a degree or diploma of two years from a Nova Scotia University or community college.
  • The candidate should have valid post-graduation work permit.
  • The candidate should score at least CLB 7 in four skill abilities of English or French language (it includes reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
