Federal Skilled Trade Program (FSTP): A valid job offer and a certificate in a specific skilled trade are required to apply for FSTP.

Canadian Experience Class (CEC): Three year’s work experience in Canada is required to apply for CEC.

First and foremost, the immigrant candidate needs to submit an application to Quebec Government for Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec [CSQ]).

Secondly, if candidate’s application is selected by Quebec and receives a CSQ, they can apply to IRCC for Permanent Residence.

Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP): AIP is developed mainly to support skilled workers and it welcomes immigrants to four Atlantic Provinces Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island.

Two Atlantic Immigration Program:

Atlantic High Skilled Program (AHSP): To apply for AHSP, candidate must have one year experience similar to present job offer. AHSP is a contract based program and the candidate must also clear level 4 of in English or French (official languages of Canada).

Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program (AISP): One year work experience based on present job offer and level 4 of any official language is required for AISP.

Age Limit for Canada PR

There is no specific age limit mentioned to apply for Permanent Residence in Canada from outside Canada. But in most of the immigration programmes candidates aged between21 to 35 are given the priority and they achieve maximum points. It also varies from province to province for this like in Nova Scotia candidates must be aged between 21 to 55 years to meet the eligibility.

Education: 25 points can be scored in education.

Processing time for Canada PR differs from programs to programs like some program might take 6 months but others might take 12 points. It depends on the application type of the candidates, any incomplete application or improper submission of necessary documents might hinder the processing time and application of the candidates.

Average time taken for some programs are:

Express Entry: 6 to 8 months of time

Provincial Nominee Program: It takes between 6 to 16 months for PNPs.

Quebec Skilled Worker Program: Around 12 to 16 months.
