Be Nominated - The applicant must be nominated for the visa by the Australian state or territory government office.Remember, state and territory government agencies can see your submitted EOI and might nominate or select you for the visa. 

Every state and territory of Australia has their own selection criteria for determining on what requirements they will nominate a candidate. Note: If your application is withdrawn from a state or territory agency for nomination, your application becomes invalid.

Get Your Skill Assessment Certificate – To make your application more valid, the applicant has to declare that he/she has an appropriate skill assessment at the time of invitation. For this, you need to provide a copy of this skill assessment with your application.

The applicant must have been obtained their skill assessment certificate in the 3 years before the date of invitation. 

If you belong from the medical and legal practitioners, you can provide the following as proof of a skills assessment:

  • You can take full or unconditional or general medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • If you assess with conditional specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. It will only permit you to practice in your specialty. You need no extra training or supervision. 
  • Want an admission to practice law in the relevant state or territory

Candidates having skills were assessed on the past qualification got in Australia when holding a student visa, then your qualification must be registered on CRICOS. 

Age – The applicant's age must be 45 or less than 45 years old when you get your invite to apply. 

English Language – The applicant must have competent English at the time of invitation. 

Skill Requirement – The applicant's occupation should be mentioned in the occupation list of 190 Skilled Nominations.

Health & Character Certificate – The applicant and his family member applying for the visa should meet the health and character requirement. 

Sign the Australian Value statement – The applicant 18 years of age or older, you should;

    • Have to read & understand life in Australia
  • Confirm you will respect Australian rules & regulations as well as the respect Australian way of life when signing the Australian Values Statement

What is the Point scored on Skilled Nomination Subclass 190 visa?
