For the work experience points, candidates are awarded points as per the work experience. In which they need to have at least one year of work experience in the relevant field of occupation that is categorized under National Occupation Classification (NOC) skill type 0, A or B.

An applicant gets employment points only if he manages to get continuous, paid, full-time work and the occupation listed under NOC skill type O, A or B. An applicant will score additional 10 points if able to get the employment offer letter.
If you are immigrating to Canada with a job offer, you can get 10 points towards your profile. Be sure your occupation is listed in the NOC Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B of the NOC.
If the applicant’s family is living in Canada as a permanent resident or citizen, he/she will be awarded an extra 10 points. They can also get additional points having a blood relative in Canada.
